Heard hilariously tackling America's true pastime every Wednesday on NPR's Talk of the Nation, program host Neal Conan and ad hoc "Political Junkie" Ken Rudin are breaking out of the studio for a live, pre-inauguration event. Ringing in the New Year and a fresh presidential term, this special edition of the weekly political segment will be held at Washington, D.C.'s Sixth & I Historic Synagogue on Wednesday, January 16 at 7 p.m.

The Political Junkie Road Show delivers all of the segments familiar to its radio fans - from political trivia and memorable presidential moments, to a healthy dose of Rudin's quick-fire commentary on presidential history - in front of a live audience.

Brave audience members will have the opportunity to test their presidential knowledge against a gaggle of guests, including NPR's Nina Totenberg, Ari Shapiro, Don Gonyea; veteran journalist and NPR commentator Ted Koppel; as well as columnists Clarence Page of the Chicago Tribune and The Tampa Bay Times' Eric Deggans. Attendees will even be treated to some oratory tips from presidential speech-writing pros Paul Glastris and Michael Gerson, and former White House Director of Public Liaison under Ronald Reagan, Linda Chavez.
