Pozo de Jacinto (or Jacinto's Well) in Puerto Rico

This photo was added to our Flickr group by Gary Eckstein. It was taken at Jobos Beach in Puerto Rico.

"This is a geological landmark on the northwest coast of Puerto Rico. ... The water has eroded the volcanic rock from below, forming a land bridge. As the waves come into the coast, water rushes into the hole and blows upward with great force. It is a local attraction and a bit intimidating to peer into — I personally didn't want to get as close as the people in the photo."

Does your camera make you braver?
