Two Thumbs Up For Traditional Disney Animation

Disney's The Princess And The Frog opened this weekend, and did pretty well at the box office. The movie's receipts put it at #1 for the weekend, and according to Ben Fritz at the Los Angeles Times, even though it had a "so-so" weekend, audiences liked it and December traditionally starts slowly, anyway.

I haven't seen it yet, but plan to — Disney's animated classics were beloved family treasures growing up. And one of my very favorite things about it is that it isn't Pixar: The Princess And The Frog was hand drawn, just like my old loves. So please enjoy one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite, beautifully animated Disney classics, Robin Hood. Roger Miller, take it away.
