It's not as memorable as "one small step for man" or "space, the final frontier," but NASA says the first tweet was sent from space today.

So far, many of the tweets in reply have been along the times of "way too cool dude!"

You can also follow the tweets from space here, NASA says. The space agency says this is all part of a new upgrade that has given astronauts on the space station access to the Web.
