VIDEO CLIP: Double-Agent Who Killed 7 CIA Personnel Vowed 'Revenge'

The inevitable posthumously released video made by a suicide bomber before he strikes has surfaced — this time one from the Jordanian double-agent who killed eight people, including seven CIA personnel, in Afghanistan on Dec. 30.

As the Associated Press reports, the video appeared today on on al-Jazeera, the Arabic network, and Aaj, a Pakistani channel. In it, Humam Khalil Abu Mulal al-Balawi vowed to avenge the death last August of Pakistani Taliban chief Baitullah Mehsud.

Here's a report, including a short clip from the video, that al-Jazeera English has posted online:

As we wrote yesterday, the killer's wife has declared she is proud of her husband.

NPR's Tom Gjelten reports he's been told by a former intelligence official that Balawi "had previously revealed enough information about al-Qaida operatives to enable the CIA to kill them with missile strikes from unmanned aircraft."
