Cheney Released From Hospital

Two days after suffering what's described as a "mild" heart attack, former vice president Dick Cheney has been released from George Washington University Hospital.

NPR's Don Gonyea just forwarded us this message from Cheney aide Peter Long:

"Former vice president Cheney is feeling good this morning and was discharged from GWU Hospital. He will resume his normal schedule shortly."

Cheney, 69, has suffered at least five heart attacks — the first when he ws 37.
