For those nostalgic for the 2008 presidential campaign — and the Republican ticket in particular — here's some news of interest:

When '08 GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin campaigns in Arizona for Sen. John McCain on Friday and Saturday, the events will be webcast by the McCain 2010 senate campaign. So you don't have to be there to see what happens.

Friday's rally in Tucson starts at noon local time (3 p.m. ET). Saturday's event in Mesa begins at 9 a.m. local time (noon ET).

As The Hill's campaign blog Ballot Box says, Palin's "political ambition will be on full display."

The Arizona Republic says the school gym where Saturday's event will be can hold more than 2,000 people.

Update at 1:45 p.m. ET: In other Palin-related news, the Susan B. Anthony List, which seeks to "advance the role of pro-life women in the political process," announced today that the former Alaska governor will be the keynote speaker at its May 14 "Celebration of Life Breakfast" in Washington. Ticket prices range from $150 to $25,000 ("VIP seating for 20 guests, 6 tickets for photo opportunity with Sarah Palin, and recognition in program").
