Service Sector Grew In February

There was growth in the economy's service sector last month — the second straight increase — according to the Institute for Supply Management.

Its "non-manufacturing index" ticked up 2.5 percentage points in February from January, to a reading of 53%. According to the institute, among the reasons for the rise were increases in orders and employment.
