Jobless Claims Dip Again

The number of people filing first-time claims for jobless benefits declined by 4,000 last week, to 444,000, the Employment and Training Administration just reported.

As the Associated Press notes, it's the fourth straight weekly decline and could be a signal that "the job market is improving" — but at "a glacial pace."
