Mystery Surrounds 'Millions' Of Dead Fish In California

It's a shocking sight: dead fish covering the surface of the water at a marina in California.

KTLA reports that millions of fish have washed up in the King Harbor Marina near Redondo Beach. It's not clear what killed the fish.

The AP reports a marina official speculating that the fish may have been trying to escape a red tide, became trapped in the harbor and died after using up the available oxygen.

California Fish and Game officials are investigating the incident.
