One of my favorite things about working at NPR is the holiday party. This is not just a mingling-happy-hour company party. Rather, we offer mini-events throughout the day to accommodate the schedules of staff supporting our 24-hour news coverage. That way no matter what shift you're working you can have a little holiday fun. That means the festivities start well before the sun comes up and continue all throughout the day with competitions of all kinds (bake off, relay race, ugly sweater), a chance to make cards for residents of a local nursing home, and of course, Santa. Hope you enjoy your holiday party festivities as much as we do.
