We Play The Game 'Loved," By Alexander Ocias : Wait Wait ... Don't Tell Me! For this week's Mindless Arcade Friday, we play a not so mindless browser game from designer Alexander Ocias. 'Loved' deals with obedience, dominance, the existence of God, and of course jumping over pits of spikes.

Today's game: Loved, by Alexander Ocias.

Not so mindless today. In 'Loved,' you're some kind of creature, and there's an omnipotent being telling you what to do. Here's the thing, though: you have your doubts about this omnipotent being. You choose to obey it or not, and your choices influence what happens next. It's just like life, or the Final Season of Lost. Or Super Mario Bros meets the Book of Job.

I find this game pretty interesting, though I'm a little creeped out by the sensation the game is playing me, rather than the other way around.

Recommended, for people who like: playing cerebral games, being verbally abused.
