Black Pistol Fire is the stomping, blues-inflected duo of Kevin McKeown on guitar and lead vocals and Eric Owen on drums. Originally from Toronto, the two now call Austin home. Black Pistol Fire's fourth album, Don't Wake The Riot, comes out later this month.

The band's live show evokes a two-person reincarnation of Led Zeppelin, with McKeown channeling both Robert Plant and Jimmy Page and Owen doing a convincing John Bonham. Slashing and intense, their sound rocks but never loses its blues underpinnings. Hear two songs in the downloadable audio segment above.
