September 2, 2005 Piano prodigy Taylor Eigsti joins Marian McPartland for a special live taping of Piano Jazz at the 2004 Tanglewood Jazz Festival. Eigsti has impressed audiences and critics alike with his technical proficiency and intuitive understanding of the keyboard.
September 2, 2005 Superstar cellist Yo-Yo Ma leads the 22 international virtuosos of the Silk Road Ensemble — which was founded at Tanglewood Music Center in 2000 — in a blend of world music. The concert takes place at the Civic Theatre in downtown San Diego.
