Android has landed.

More than an app. It's a community. The only NPR app built by our listeners.

Download NPR News from the Android Market. There you can wireless sync apps to your device by logging into your Google account. Or if you are already browsing on your phone, you can install the app directly. You can also scan the image below with your Android device using a barcode scanning application.

Since March 2010, the open source code for the app has been available. We invite you to iterate and improve on our app. If you use the code, let us know - we'd love to hear from you.

If you are a developer, dig into our code. You can join the Google Group and work with other coders passionate about NPR, Android and open source.

If you're just a fan, you can still participate. Find us on Twitter @nprandroid and let us know your ideas, concerns and complaints.
