April 5, 2013 Tim Pernetti did not fire basketball coach Mike Rice in December, after seeing videos of the coach physically and verbally abusing his players. He says he wanted to fire the coach, but university lawyers did not. When those videos surfaced this week, Rice was dismissed. Now Pernetti is out as well.
