October 12, 2010 Both Republican Roy Blunt and Democrat Robin Carnahan are very establishment figures though each is trying to position himself as more the outsider. The anti-Obama mood in the state would seem to favor Blunt; Missouri voted for John McCain in 2008.
August 3, 2010 No surprises in the Republican and Democratic primaries in Missouri to replace retiring GOP Sen. Kit Bond. For the GOP, the winner was former House majority whip Roy Blunt. On the Democratic side, it was Secretary of State Robin Carnahan.
August 3, 2010 There's a Senate race on the ballot in today's Missouri primary, but the big story is a referendum that would have state voters exempted from the new health care bill. If it passes, it will likely be challenged in the courts.
