December 3, 2010 Senate and House members of Obama's deficit panel voted differently. Maybe distrust explains why. The House tends to distrust the Senate where the report would have gone for a floor vote if more members of the panel had agreed.
November 16, 2010 Sen. Gregg said the tax proposals of the fiscal panel co-chairs could boost the economy. In an interview on Morning Edition with Steve Inskeep he also said he would keep all spending cuts on the table since overspending is the main problem.
