September 7, 2011 The reports by the liberal Mother Jones and Brad Blog about the Koch Brothers' private Vail meeting in June with scores of other members of the superwealthy class are reminders that, no matter how rich you are, you still don't have enough money apparently to accomplish all you'd like on your own. You still need help from other like-minded superwealthy.
May 5, 2011 New York magazine Daily Intel blogger Sarah Owen writes that she saw Koch at a Manhattan charity ball Wednesday. Not only did the big donor to Republican causes begrudge the president credit for Osama bin Laden's killing but he made the president sound like the second coming of Eugene V. Debs.
March 7, 2011 ThinkProgress, a liberal group, posted a video of Sen. Scott Brown asking billionaire David Koch for further campaign money. While ThinkProgress seems to suggest it's proof of something unseemly, it's actually the pretty standard request made by politicians, especially senators in expensive races.
February 23, 2011 Walker told the prankster posing as billionaire David Koch that he considered putting troublemakers among the protesters but didn't because it might backfire in terms of public opinion.
