September 9, 2013 An unidentified man fell to his death Sunday during the San Francisco 49ers' home opener. Witnesses say the man appeared to be intoxicated. The same day, a railing collapsed at the Colts' game in Indianapolis, injuring two fans.
Most of the lights were out, but between camera flashes and emergency back-ups it wasn't pitch black when there were two power failures Monday night at San Francisco's Candlestick Park.

December 20, 2011 Pacific Gas and Electric isn't sure what caused the lights to go out twice at the San Francisco stadium. While the game was delayed, that didn't keep the red-hot 49ers from beating the Pittsburgh Steelers 20-3.
