October 23, 2013 Matthew Cordle confessed online to driving drunk. A man was killed in the accident he caused. Cordle's video went viral. On Wednesday, he received less than the maximum sentence of about eight years in prison.
September 18, 2013 Matthew Cordle, the 22-year-old Ohio man whose online video confession to having killed a man while driving drunk went viral, formally pleaded guilty Wednesday to aggravated vehicular homicide. He could be sent to prison for as long as 8 1/2 years.
September 9, 2013 Matthew Cordle's online confession that he was driving drunk when he caused a fatal accident has gone viral. On Monday, it was announced that a grand jury has indicted the 22-year-old Cordle on a charge of aggravated vehicular homicide. He could go to jail for more than eight years.
