June 4, 2013 As a defensive lineman with the Los Angeles Rams in the '60s, Jones was one of the "fearsome foursome." He's also credited with coining the word "sack" for what's done to a quarterback when he's tackled behind the line of scrimmage. Jones is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

April 17, 2013 Known for his succinct style on the air, the broadcaster was teamed with the exuberant Madden for years on CBS and Fox. He was also the voice of the Masters golf tournament and U.S. Open tennis. Summerall died Tuesday. He was 82.
