September 12, 2011 Alexander Galimov, 26, had been severely burned. Last week's plane crash killed most of the players and staff on Russia's elite Lokomotiv hockey team. Several NHL veterans were among those who died.

Russian Plane Crashes, Hockey Team On Board Includes NHL Veterans

Rescuers work at the crash site of a Russian Yak-42 jet near the city of Yaroslavl, on the Volga River about 150 miles northeast of Moscow.

September 7, 2011 It isn't known yet exactly who was on the plane, which went down in western Russia. More than 40 people were on board and most are reported to have died.
