RuPaul: Famous, Fierce And Fashion Forward

RuPaul is the host of RuPaul's Drag Race.

February 2, 2012 RuPaul is known for his dazzling dresses, sky-high wigs and even higher stiletto heels. His latest accomplishment is hosting RuPaul's Drag Race, a modeling competition for drag queens, now in its fourth season. Host Michel Martin speaks with the 51-year-old entertainer, singer and model.

Dominique Dawes, Olympian To Health Advocate

Dominique Dawes encourages kids to get 60 minutes of active play every day as part of the kick off of YMCA's Healthy Kids Day in April 2011.

December 14, 2011 Dawes is the first African-American woman to win an individual Olympic medal in gymnastics. Now at age 35, she's dedicated to helping others maintain healthy lifestyles. She speaks with host Michel Martin about her career, and how families can handle the challenges that face their student-athletes.

Michael Kahn On Directing Theater, Ditching Exams

November 2, 2011 Michael Kahn began directing plays as a child, and since then has become one of the most respected directors in classical theater. He formerly taught at New York's famed Julliard School. Now he's celebrating his 25 years leading the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, D.C. He speaks with Michel Martin about casting more actors of color, boosting culture in Washington and causing trouble as a college student.
