November 22, 2011 When Heidi Hale was a child, her mother served bran muffins at every Thanksgiving. "I didn't realize this was an atypical holiday side dish until Thanksgiving at my college boyfriend's. His posh stepmother was toasting everyone: 'And thank you to Heidi for bringing the (pregnant pause) ... bread.' "
Flambeed Sweet Potatoes
