Tigers Sweep Yankees To Advance To The World Series

Detroit Tigers' Miguel Cabrera hits a two-run home run in the fourth inning during Game 4 of the American League Championship Series against the New York Yankees Thursday.

October 18, 2012 The Tigers won 8-1 for a four-game sweep of the American League championship series. It's their second trip to the World Series in seven years. They'll face either defending champions St. Louis Cardinals or the San Francisco Giants.
