Americans Rediscover The Kick Of Hard Cider

A growing number of U.S. consumers are finding much to enjoy in this fruity alcoholic beverage, driving an increase in cider sales. The Vermont Hard Cider Company now produces 70,000 cases of Woodchuck Hard Cider each week.

November 8, 2012 VPRThe fruit-based alcoholic drink may not yet rival beer in popularity, but sales have been increasing rapidly in the past few years. A variety of flavors and the use of fruits other than the traditional apple are helping to attract a new generation of hard cider drinkers.
