Scott speaks with Keith Devlin, Dean of Science at St. Mary''s College in Moraga, California about space travel and mathematics. The spacecraft "Stardust" will be launched next weekend, and will traverse more than 3 billion miles before returning to Earth. Professor Devlin explains that math has a lot to do with fuel efficiency and with using the "fuel" that''s already out there in space.
