Liane Hansen speaks with Jamaican guitarist Ernest Ranglin. Known as the "grandfather of ska", he pioneered the genre in the late 1950''s, and is one of the Caribbean''s legendary musicians. His latest CD, "In Search of the Lost Riddim" (Palm Pictures PALMCD 2001) features music and musicians from Senegal, including master vocalist Baaba Maal.
