Lying, Part One

A panel discussion examining lying in the public and private sectors. Prompted by the recent admission of "mistakes" by President Clinton in the Monica Lewinsky affair, we discuss the various ways we lie in our personal and professional lies, what prompts untruths, and what we expect from those we elect to political office. Liane is joined by Jeffrey Rosen, associate professor of law at George Washington University; Kathleen Hall Jamieson, Dean of the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania; and Father Thomas Reese, Editor in Chief of "America" magazine.
