Imposing the Death Penalty

NPR's Nina Totenberg speaks with Judge Alex Kozinski, a federal appeals court judge, about the difficulties of sending someone to their death. Judge Kozinski has overseen over a dozen death penalty cases, and reveals some of the personal angst they cause not only to the defendant and the victim's families, but to the judges as well.
