NPR's Mary Kay Magistad reports on the mood in Taiwan as Hong Kong prepares itself for a return to China. Many Taiwanese are concerned that once Hong Kong reverts to China, it could become easier for China to take back Taiwan. The Chinese government has never recognized Taiwan as an independent state.
