The White House and congressional negotiators have lowered the price tag of President Obama's economic stimulus plan, reaching a compromise that could put the bill up for a vote by the end of the week.

NPR congressional correspondent Andrea Seabrook joins Tony Cox with an update from the Capitol. Plus, author and economist Dr. Julianne Malveaux provides analysis of the stimulus package agreement.
