Hurricane Georges moved across the Florida Keys last night on its uncertain course toward Alabama, Louisiana and Texas. Almost a million and a half people have been evacuated from the Gulf Coast but so far, there have been no casualties in the U.S. Georges left 300 people dead earlier this week in Cuba and the Dominican Republic.
