Daniel speaks with Africa specialist and Northwestern University President, Henry Bienen about President Clinton's trip to Africa. Historically, Beinen says, Africa has been of interest to the U.S. for strategic reasons tied to the Cold War and its mineral wealth. The reasons for the President's current trip are less clear, but Bienen says Clinton may be trying to shore up support among African-American voters.
