Mlk Sermon

text sizeAAA
August 23, 1998

This month marks the 35th anniversary of the March on Washington and Martin Luther King Jr.'s famous "I Have a Dream Speech." We hear an excerpt from one of Martin Luther King's less well-known and earliest recorded sermons, "Rediscovering Lost Values." The sermon was given in 1954 at Second Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan and is part of a collection of King's sermons compiled by Time-Warner audio books, A Knock at Midnight, Inspiration from the Great Sermons of Martin Luther King Jr, (Time-Warner Audio Books, 1998).
