Young Musicians Double Up on Piano and Composing

Pianists Conrad Tao, 12, and Peng-Peng Gong, 14, are pals in the pre-college division at the Juilliard School in New York. They have a passion for playing new music and composing it. "I used to mimic the old style composers, but it isn't 1700 any more," says Conrad. "It's time for some new music." Conrad and Peng-Peng play the third movement from Conrad's Sonata for Two Pianos.
