Though Fruit, The Asteroids Galaxy Tour's first official LP is not scheduled to be released until May, this Danish group already has an impressive resume in the works. "Around the Bend" has been featured in an ipod touch commercial, a few tracks were on an episode of the CW show Gossip Girl, and the band's first gig was opening for Amy Winehous at Copenhagen's largest music venue.

The Asteroids Galaxy Tour has two chief members: Mette Lindberg and Lars Iversen, but it is not unusual to see this duo swell to a talented and diverse six-piece band when on stage. Lindberg's unique voice is a key component of The Asteroids Galaxy Tour. Sometimes raw and demanding and at other times smooth and suggestive, Lindberg's vocals provides ammunition for the band's feisty, retro-tinged pop songs. Funk, soul, psychedelia, and electro-pop are just a few of the flavors that help diversify Fruit. Recording Fruit with Iversen's vintage equipment also helps solidify this fun, retro sound.
