Guy Clark

Audio will be available later today.

He's from Monahans, Texas - one of the flattest, dustiest, most intriguing landscapes in the U.S. and it's the images from that landscape that crop up most often in the music of singer/songwriter Guy Clark. Clark's raspy voice and vivid, poetic tales of smalltown life out west have assured him a devoted following, especially among fellow musicians such as Jerry Jeff Walker and Waylon Jennings who have made several Clark tunes into big hits. But, now Clark has a new cd out, his first live album, where you get to hear some of Clark's greatest works by the artist himself. It's called "Keepers" and is on the Sugar Hill label.
