Gm Strike

GUESTS: Don Gonyea NPR's Auto Industry & Labor Reporter Tom Juravich Associate Professor of Labor Studies at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst Gregory Kagay Vice President, McDonald & Company Investment Firm Auto Industry Analyst General Motors and striking United Auto Workers have agreed on a tentative framework to settle their seven-week old strike. Over 200,000 auto workers were idled during the dispute, bringing a halt to nearly all North American assembly operations.
