GUESTS: Peter & Linda Biehl Parents of Amy Biehl Director Amy Biehl Foundation, Palm Springs, CA In 1993, 26-year-old Amy Biehl, an American student working in South Africa, was killed in a black township when a mob attacked her car. Earlier this month, the four young men charged with the killing appeared before South Africa's Truth and Reconciliation Commission seeking amnesty for the crime. Amy Biehl's parents, Linda and Peter Biehl, testified at the hearings. The Biehls join host Ray Suarez to talk about their statement to the commission and forgiveness for crimes committed during apartheid. That's on the next Talk of the Nation, from NPR News.
