New York to Cleveland to San Francisco millions of Americans have left their urban homes to reside in the suburbs. Along with them, they are take their tax dollars spending cash and even jobs. What's left is a growing disparity between city and its environs. What will happen to city life if the trend continues? Do suburbanites have a stake in keeping cities alive?
