Thousands of episodes of "The PTL Club" starring Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker are to be auctioned. The televangelists hosted the Christian talk show from their theme park. The show ended when Jim was imprisoned for fraud after a sex scandal. The couple later divorced.

Good morning. I'm Linda Wertheimer. Good news for fans of Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker. Thousands of episodes of "The PTL Club" are to be auctioned. The televangelists hosted the Christian talk show from their theme park. He preached, she sang, and was often moved to tears, wiping streaks of mascara from her face. Appraisers say the tapes are worth $8 million. The show ended when Jim was imprisoned for fraud. PTL stood for Praise the Lord.
