In Iraq, thousands of U.S. troops are searching for three American soldiers apparently captured in an ambush. A group linked to al-Qaida calling itself the Islamic State in Iraq claims it is holding the soldiers.

Also Sunday, massive bombings claimed at least 67 lives in Baghdad and a town in the north.

Host Jacki Lyden talks with David Kilcullen, the senior counter-insurgency adviser to Gen. David Petraeus, top U.S. commander in Iraq.
