News & Notes editor Sasa Woodruff recalls one of her favorite segments, which focused on the 100th anniversary of Allensworth, Calif.

The town was the first in the state to be funded and founded solely by African Americans.

Woodruff also recalls her experience producing an interview with opera singer Eric Owens.
