Senate Prepares to Depose Witnesses

Host Bob Edwards talks with NPR''s White House Correspondent Mara Liasson about White House strategy as the Senate prepares for closed-door depositions for three witnesses in the Senate impeachment trial of President Clinton. Senators voted along party lines on the subpoenas, with one exception. The vote made it clear that the chance of removing Clinton from office is very slim.
