Germany Struggles with Holocaust Legacy

NPR''s Edward Lifson reports from Berlin, Germany, on plans for a National Holocaust Memorial. The government has endorsed a design, which must now be approved by the German parliament. Yesterday, the country commemorated victims of the Holocaust amid debate about how to balance remembrance with a desire to look forward.
