IRS Clears Foundation Which Paid Gingrich

NPR's Brian Naylor reports that the Internal Revenue Service has cleared a nonprofit foundation of charges it skirted tax laws when it paid former House Speaker Newt Gingrich for teaching a college course. The charges led to a finding by the House Ethics Committee that Gingrich misled Congress, and resulted in a three hundred thousand dollar fine against Gingrich (which he has paid.)
