Shot Oakland Officer Taken Off Life Support

An Oakland, Calif., police officer shot over the weekend by a man wanted on a parole violation was taken off life support Tuesday.

His death brings to four the number of officers killed as a result of Saturday's violence. The gunman is also dead.
