U.S. Ponders Funding Saddam''s Enemies

NPR''s Steve Inskeep reports that US diplomats have been talking to Saddam Hussein''s enemies - both in and outside Iraq - to support the overthrow of Hussein''s administration. The US hopes to rally disparate Iraqi opposition forces, including the Kurds of northern Iraq and Shiites in southern Iraq. However, US officials'' support for the policy is far from unanimous.
